Cleared for Takeoff: Night Plane Is Out Now on Steam!
Fasten your seatbelts and prepare for an overnight shift like no other. Liquid Static Studio and New Tales invite players aboard Night Plane, a job-sim horror experience where customer service can quickly become a matter of life and death.
Paris, France – October 26, 2026 – Cabin crew, arm doors and cross-check. Prepare for takeoff!
After a successful reveal at Gamescom earlier this year, Night Plane, the latest creation from New Zealand-based indie developer Liquid Static Studio, is officially available on PC via Steam!
Published by New Tales, Night Plane is a single-player job-sim horror game that takes players back to 1999, putting them in the shoes of a flight attendant aboard a rather unusual overnight flight.
Your responsibilities? Check boarding passes, serve refreshments, attend to passengers' needs, and make sure everyone enjoys a pleasant journey.
Sounds simple enough. Except some of your passengers might not actually be human.
Welcome Aboard Plane Airlines™
At first glance, it's business as usual aboard Plane Airlines™. Passengers need assistance, the cabin needs looking after, and management expects impeccable customer service.
But things aren't quite what they seem.
Shape-shifting entities are hiding among the passengers, and identifying them is now part of your job description. Examine tickets, question suspicious travelers, look for inconsistencies, and decide who should be allowed to remain on board.
Every decision matters, and mistakes can have consequences that extend far beyond an unhappy customer review.
Combining psychological horror, observation-based gameplay, dark humor, and a healthy dose of corporate cynicism, Night Plane turns the familiar routines of a flight attendant into a tense and unpredictable experience.
With its distinctive PSX-inspired visuals, fully voiced characters, branching narrative and multiple endings, each shift offers new reasons to question both your passengers and your employer's commitment to workplace safety.
Your Flight Is Ready
Night Plane is available now on PC via Steam.
Whether you're a seasoned horror enthusiast or simply curious about the less glamorous side of working for a supernatural airline, there's a seat waiting for you.
Just remember to check your passenger manifest, follow company procedures, and remain calm in the event of unexpected turbulence.
Management accepts no responsibility for anything that happens during your shift.
