New Tales appoints Peter Chun as its new Head of Asia

New Tales is pleased to announce that Peter Chun is taking on a new role at New Tales as Head of Asia.

With more than 28 years of experience in the video game industry, Peter brings deep expertise in business development, market expansion, and go-to-market strategy. Over the course of his career, he played a key role in the early development of the online gaming market in Korea and contributed to the growth of major titles such as Lineage, Guild Wars, Hearthstone, Overwatch, StarCraft Remastered, and Diablo Immortal.

As Head of Asia, Peter will focus on strengthening New Tales’ relationships with local partners across the region, deepening our connection with Asian gaming ecosystems, and supporting the expansion of our business opportunities in these markets.

His strong knowledge of the region, long-standing industry network, and ability to turn opportunities into concrete action will be key as we continue to grow internationally.

For New Tales, this is about more than expanding our presence. It is about being closer to local players, partners, and communities so we can better support great games and help them resonate more deeply across markets.
