The personal information we collect depends on what Services you use and how you use them.

We collect information (a) you provide directly to us when you register to use our Services, request marketing from us or otherwise communicate with us (e.g., via email, customer support or through in-Game features); (b) when using and interacting with our Services; and (c) which we receive from third parties when you access our Games through third-party platforms (e.g. Steam, Xbox Live, PlayStation Network). These third parties have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their practices. We encourage you to review their policies.

The types of information we may collect include:

  • Identity and profile data, such as first and last name, age, user/account name and ID, platform account IDs (e.g. Steam ID, Xbox Live Gamertag);

  • Contact data, such as address, email address (or other online contact information) and telephone number;

  • Usage data, such as data generated by your interactions and choices on our Website and in-game (including interactions with the game client), progression and achievements in-game, preferred settings, user generated speech and text, and information about how and when you use our Services, such as session duration, features accessed, and crash reports and other data related to bugs and errors;

  • Technical and browsing information, such as device type, operating system and platform, hardware specifications, Game version, IP address, browser type and version, browser language, time zone setting and location, internet service provider information, and technical data on the devices you use to access our Services, information that your browser sends whenever you visit our Website;

  • Other user data, such as customer support messages, and information you provide through in-game features, feedback forms, surveys and through participation to playtests, contests, events and influencer programs.

Use of Your Personal Data

We may use Personal Data for the following purposes, based on the legal basis outlined under GDPR:

  • To develop, provide, operate and improve our Services, including the following:

  • To facilitate account creation, registration and authentication;

  • To provide access and login to the Game, saving progress, settings, and other user account management data;

  • To optimize performance and stability, and enhance game design;

  • To deliver updates and patches;

  • To provide and manage access and participation to contests, events and influencer programs;

  • To ensure security and prevent fraud, cheating, abuse, hacking, exploitation of game mechanics and/or the violation of our agreements with you (e.g. our End User License Agreement).

  • To attend and manage your requests to us and to provide customer support.

  • To send you newsletters and/or similar marketing communication related to our Services, such as signing up for playtests, early access versions, optional surveys and/or contests.

  • To comply with our legal or regulatory obligations or the processing is necessary for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.

Retention of Your Personal Data

We will retain your Personal Data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. When we have no ongoing legitimate need to process your personal information, we will either delete or anonymize it. We may retain your Personal Data for a longer period to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations (for example, if we are required to retain your data to comply with applicable laws), resolve disputes, and enforce our legal agreements and policies.

Third Party Access to your Personal Data

On occasion, we may need to share your Personal Data with third parties. We may only share Personal Data where we are legally permitted to do so, when it’s reasonably necessary to provide our Services (including as described in this Privacy Policy), or as is required under applicable law. For example, we may pass your Personal Data to third parties such as:

  • service providers to enable us to provide our Services to you (including external service agencies and other professional advisers such as accountants, auditors and legal advisors). E.g. we may engage third-party service providers to perform functions on our behalf, such as hosting, analytics, customer support, and payment processing. These providers are contractually obligated to protect your data and only process it in accordance with our instructions;

  • third-party platforms when you access our Games through platforms like Steam, Xbox, PlayStation, or Nintendo. In this case we may share limited data (e.g., user ID) to enable account linking and gameplay functionality, subject to their privacy policies.

In certain circumstances, please note that we may be required to disclose Personal Data under applicable law or regulation, including to law enforcement agencies or in connection with proposed or actual legal proceedings (e.g. a court or a government agency). If we are involved in a merger, acquisition or asset sale, your Personal Data may be transferred. We will provide notice before your Personal Data is transferred and becomes subject to a different Privacy Policy.

Transfer of Your Personal Data outside the European Economic Area (EEA)

Your information, including Personal Data, is processed at our operating offices and in any other places where the parties involved in the processing are located. Children's Privacy

We do not intend to, and do not knowingly, collect personal data from individuals under the age of 16. If we become aware that personal data has been collected from a child under 16 (or a lower age, depending on local law, but not below 13) without verified parental consent, we will promptly delete it. If we decide to collect such data in the future, we will do so only in full compliance with applicable GDPR requirements, including obtaining verifiable parental consent where necessary. Any data collection by third-party platforms (e.g. Steam, Xbox, PlayStation) is separate and governed by their respective privacy policies.

We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy via in-game notifications, email our Website and update the "Last updated" date at the top of this Privacy Policy. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted on this page and your continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
